Abstract

What use can we make of the relationship between art, creativity and psychology - can the arts assist learning and refl ective practice for clinical psychologists? This workshop will seek to explore such questions, through a short performance of a dramatic interpretation of an encounter between Freud and the mythical figure, Electra (with reflective commentary provided by his housekeeper, Frau Schneid). The style of the workshop will be experiential, with opportunities for participants to consider use of the arts in their teaching and learning practice.
