Abstract | When thinking about Darwin's theory of evolution amazing physical adaptations to the challenges of survival come to mind. But it's not just the body that has evolved to fit, behaviour and cognitive abilities are as essential to survival as bones, digestion and blood. This is where psychology comes in, looking at the 'software' of everyday survival, as well as how that software works. |
