This talk was given by John McGowan and Anne Cooke from the Salomons Centre for Applied Psychology to Lewes Skeptics in the Pub in July 2013. John and Anne both work on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme at the Centre. The talk considers the recent launch of DSM-5 manual of psychiatric classification and the impact of psychiatric diagnosis more broadly. The film contains the slides used in the show combined with the audio recorded on the evening.
Many thanks to Lewes Skeptics in the Pub for supporting this event and to John Warburton for the recording. Find out more about Skeptic talks at: http://lewes.skepticsinthepub.org/
