| Description | Dr Manish Malik from Canterbury Christ Church University and Chair of the ALT South Group will lead the ALT South #TechThursday event on Thursday 30 January. He will present the results from an evaluation of a GenAI literacy session grounded in viewing GenAI as a “mind” (albeit without emotions and consciousness) and a tool in your hands at the same time (bit of balance is good here). The research identified metaphors such as mind-surfing, mind-mending, mind-bending, when using the tool in a specific or unexpected way. |
