| Abstract | A modified version of the board game "snakes and ladders" is described. It is designed to enhance classroom engagement across various educational levels, particularly in subjects like biology. The game, which takes 30-60 minutes to play, requires a game board, counters, a die, and information and question sheets. The rules involve players moving their pieces according to die rolls, answering questions when landing on certain squares, and progressing based on correct or incorrect answers. The game can be easily adapted with different question sheets tailored to different skill levels, allowing for mixed-ability pairings. It can also be used as a revision tool or test. Teachers are encouraged to create their own versions by developing question sheets and information resources. |
