Abstract | This Research Digest is from the Consolation and Hope in a Time of Crisis, Phase 2 project. The Project surveyed school students in three secondary schools, whose transition from primary to secondary schools was impacted by COVID 19. We held focus groups with selected groups from those schools as well as informal conversations with some senior members of staff. More information is available from the NICER website: nicer.org.uk The digests produced are intended for education professionals, including chaplains, pastoral leaders and school leaders, advisors, and anyone interested and concerned about the spiritual flourishing of young people. This digest outlines qualitative findings from the research with some preliminary analysis for early dissemination, prior to formal peer reviewed research publication. Findings from the survey which includes a focus on the role of the chaplain will be made available in due course. This digest details qualitative findings from the research. |
