| Abstract | Meaningful interaction with student evaluation of teaching has clear benefits. Student feedback on their learning can enhance teaching, enhancing the student experience and increasing student engagement, attainment and outcomes. To achieve these benefits, student evaluations must facilitate the student voice, truthfully and without bias. This chapter considers how to ensure meaningful student evaluation, by redesigning our evaluation tools, in partnership with students, academics and senior leaders. By doing this, we can harness the full potential of the student voice to ensure the transformative potential of higher education, for all who participate. |
