Abstract | This is a story of the role of reading, in the pandemic, and its impact on a life. It is a story about visiting Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, in March, 2020 and of the role of slavery and abuse of the other in its foundation. It is a narrative about taking time to read during about slavery and black lives during the pandemic, and finding depth and new direction in doing so. It is about a kind of spiritual adventure, to find faith in dark times. |
