Abstract

This report presents the findings of a working group that examined the access of economic, social and cultural rights among indigenous groups in Asia. These findings were presented at the 43rd session of the Human Rights Commission, Geneva, on the 03 rd March 2020. The report flagged up key violations to these rights by two State parties to the Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The report has proposed several recommendations that will inform further work undertaken by the working group.
