The research aims to investigate how personal values are exhibited by academic professionals when engaging in learning and teaching with learners. This is to engage academic professionals in a reflective discussion on how personal values influence their learning and teaching engagement with learners. While research shows that academic professionality is the character of professional work which includes quality of work and the standards that guide the action, it is unclear on how personal values influence the same.
