A new Solihull Approach programme specifically for schools, Understanding Your Pupils’ Behaviour, has been developed. This programme provides a relational framework for understanding behaviour management. It emphasises the role of containment and reciprocity in enabling young people to self-regulate. This new programme has been piloted with four primary schools in Kent.
