Abstract | A report commissioned by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and GEOS International into the potential for capacity building at the Government Chemist of Kenya. The specific aims of the research were to provide capacity building solutions which were workable within East Africa and Kenya in particular. The confidential report was focused on gender based violence and contained 18 recommendations ranging from new constructions of laboratory space, continuity and storage of evidence, engagement with universities and a new fiscal policy. |
