Abstract

On Saturday 5 December, a fire swept through a nightclub in the Russian city of Perm, killing over 100 people. In this slideshow, Hayley Watson, a PhD researcher into social-networking and politics, explores how Twitter was used to report on, explain and find meaning in the fire.
